We are honoured to be the Only B&B in town with a VisitEngland Breakfast Award, especially as Kendal has some lovely, high quality B&B’s – each with their own particular strengths and character.
“When you wake up in the morning, Pooh,” said Piglet at last, “what’s the first thing you say to yourself?”
“What’s for breakfast?” said Pooh.
(Winnie the Pooh, A.A. Milne)
Breakfast is served between 7.30-08.30 am during the week, and 7.30-09.30 am on Sat/Sunday morning. Breakfast is cooked to order; no refreshing of poached eggs kept in ice and no bacon or sausages held on a buffet! This does however mean that we must take breakfast timings from guests, booking each room a table i.e. 7.30/7.45/8.00/8.15/8.30 am (15 minute gaps between rooms) so we have time to cook and serve promptly. If you have any preferred time, please let us know.

As an independent B&B we encourage guests to give their honest feedback online. Our reviews are on Tripadvisor and Google Plus click here.
We recommend using the morning meal as a means for gleaning travel advice. Ask other guests what they’ve seen and done in the area and share your own experiences. You could gain valuable first-hand guidance on little known gems.
Packed Lunch Boxes
Tasty packed lunches (£6) are available – please request well in advance.
We provide a flexible table arrangement, in case a family or work group for example take over the entire house.Did this website answer your question? If not tell us – help us improve.
