The 3-STEP Sleep Guide
STEP 1 – Make sure you are tired;
Don’t go to bed too early – Do light exercise or take a walk around Kendal.
STEP 2 – Careful what you eat & drink;
Don’t drink alcohol or too much water in the evening. Avoid Caffeine too. Eat light at night.
(Blood pressure or cholesterol medication can certainly affect sleep quality. There could be an alternative option of medicine so speak with your GP).
STEP 3 – Relax;
Get some fresh air in your bedroom at night. Mindfulness teaches you to focus only on the moment: how your pillow feels, sounds you can hear – you are at the ‘Sonata’ after all, your breathing. It’s a hugely effective way to train you to fall sleep.
