GIFT VOUCHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Sonata Guest House gift vouchers must be redeemed only by calling 01539 732290 to the Sonata Guest House, 19 Burneside Road, Kendal LA9 4RL and may only be used towards the purchase of bed and breakfast stays. Vouchers will not be valid for bookings made through third parties such as Booking.com, Agoda etc.
Sonata Guest House gift vouchers cannot be redeemed to pay for other gift vouchers or cards.
Sonata Guest House gift vouchers have no cash redemption value.
Gift cards may be used to purchase goods of a higher price than the amount on the gift card, on payment of the difference.
If a guest uses a gift card to pay for something of lesser value than the gift voucher, the amount of the purchase will be subtracted and the remaining balance will be reduced to nil and forfeited.
All gift vouchers are non-refundable
If the purchase made at Sonata Guest House exceeds the amount on the gift voucher, the balance must be paid in cash or by credit or debit card.
One or more gift vouchers can be redeemed against a purchase Sonata Guest House
Sonata Guest House is not responsible if a gift voucher is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
Defaced, illegible, or photocopied gift vouchers will not be accepted.
You must check that the details of the gift voucher are correct as soon as possible.
The gift voucher should be issued and posted within three (3) days of payment being received. Posting by first class post (or signed for/special delivery if requested, at an extra charge). We accept no liability for any delay which may occur in the delivery times.
All specific arrangements regarding booking dates and times must be made directly with us. We will use all reasonable endeavours to meet your request but cannot guarantee any specific date or time. Credit card details may be required to secure a reservation using a gift card.
In the event that the Sonata Guest House breach their contract with you, we shall be responsible only for refunding the cost of the gift voucher. The Sonata Guest House shall not be liable to pay any other compensation or losses suffered by you as a consequence of the breach of contract. Otherwise our standard terms and conditions apply.
Nothing in the Consumer Terms and Conditions or any additional terms and conditions applicable to a gift voucher alter or affect your statutory rights.
Sonata Guest House gift vouchers are subject to the laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes.
Additional terms specifically for Complimentary Voucher(s),
If booking during peak time (March – October) the use of complimentary voucher(s) require a minimum 2 nights stay.
Two (2) adults must share a double or twin room. Complimentary voucher(s) are not valid for single occupancy.
Complimentary voucher(s) are subject to room availability and excludes 23-31 Dec, Kendal event days and Bank holidays.
Complimentary Voucher(s) give £25 off the standard tariff/rack rates and are not valid against any discounted rates.
All these standard terms of sale apply to all Gift Vouchers from 25 November 2014.
